In 2022, Montblanc pays tribute to a great 20th-century musician, considered by many to be one of the most influential electric guitar players in the history of popular music: Jimi Hendrix. Inspired by the cover of his 1968 album, Electric Ladyland, the body of this limited edition of 1,942 pieces features a lacquer gradient topped with a skeletonized design. The cap's surface evokes the material of an amplifier used by Hendrix and is adorned with a lacquered badge. The yellow gold clip is angled like the vibrato of an electric guitar. The Montblanc emblem on the cap's apex is crafted from precious resin. Another striking detail: the yellow gold-plated body ring, reminiscent of a 1960s guitar cable, is engraved with the date of a famous Jimi Hendrix concert.Clip: Metal and resin clip
